Saw your ad in the "Good Sam Highways Magazine" a long time ago and thought it would be a good joke gift for my husband at Christmas so I ordered one. Little did I realize that it was going to be such a great hit.
We all laughed when we opened the box. He thought it was great because he never knows what day it is and it didn't take him long to find a place and hang it. Since then he has been telling everyone what a great gift his wife gave him. At their request I have emailed the info to 2 friends. One said he will be ordering 3 clocks for friends who will be retiring soon and the other person is interested in ordering one. Maybe I should be asking for a commission (just kidding). I'm glad I saved the brochure and will continue to hang on to it in case my husband does some more advertising.
A happy customer. Rose and Dick Vesely
It's been a year since I bought your day clock, and I could not be happier. I have to be honest with you, though. Your clock is great for a unigue type of customer that you probably never dreamed of serving. My son is mentally challenged and never can remember what day it is. He becomes very disoriented at times. your clock has been a lifesaver for me, where he doesn't have to ask me numerous times throughout the day what day it is. All he has to do is look at the wall near his chair for the day clock. Your clock has saved my sanity!
I'm serious-this is no joke. Thank you very much for a wonderful product! Vickie Hammons
I am writing to thank you for the very quick shipping of my order. I was the one that called regarding the Lansing, Illinois retailer that apparently is no longer in business. I was very surprised to find the clock on my porch so quickly! Thank you very much! My 82 year old mother has it right on the wall right across from her seat at the kitchen table. I no longer have to write what day of the week it is for her on the black board. I think it's wonderful, and very good looking as well! She has been doing very well in taking her medicine that I have place into a daily/weekly pill box.
I'm so glad that great fun (dirt sailing) turned out to be such a fantastic(and hopefully profitable) idea for you and yyour partner..
I will certainly tell others who have elderly parents of your Day Clock. Therese Martin
Dear Sir;
I want to thank you for all your kindness in the 2 Dayclocks, and how quickly you helped me out. They arrived here in perfect order. The idea you had for this, if in fact you are the inventor of them, or by representing them in the capcity that you do, is such a helpful item.
I have wonderful in-laws, my father in law is the kind of man that you want for a father to a friend, in the 35 years I have been in the family, he has always been the type of person you hear others just make the statement without hesitation..."ask Ern, he will know how to build it, or fix what ever it is..." and they are right, without hesitation he will do his very best.
My mother, has always been organized, and able to make do with what ever was around. She could create delicious aromas from the kitchen and full meals on what I would wonder waht was in the fridge to eat? I thought bean soup or waffles were a treat!!! Little did I know that it was Thursday before payday, and this is what was left in the cupboard to eat.
My point is, they were both such creative and the do'ers of the family
They both were born in 1923.They both are in stages of a type of Dementia---the sadness that robs every one of them and them of themselves.
They know of the loss of time, and in turn that runs into the loss of days of the week. My mom can not remember to use the calendar, and my father in law uses every means he can to keep hold of the precious currency of life-time, but it is a battle that is one step forward and two backwards.
My mother-in law is very happy about the time piece, it gave Ern back a sense of independence, with out needing to ask.."What day is this"... he seek it for himself, just with a glance and then that is his... a very valuable sense.
I again, want to take my time and share with you a special thank you and appreciation. For whom ever created the concept and then put it into marketing, has helped many, but I just want to tell you of my two. I will be ordering a couple of more soon, for my Aunt and Uncle; they still will be able to enjoy it for the effect of calendar. Bonnie Mcfarland
